This year I thought I'd spend a little extra money on the decorative frosting for my daughter's birthday cake. So I bought the Disney Princess Shimmer Decorating Glitter Gels by Cake Mate. The gels are supposed to have a glittery sheen to them.
Well the gels do glitter. Unfortunately, they also do not have a consistent texture. One moment the gel is coming out in sparkling ropes--the next minute it is reduced to a watery texture with no sparkle at all. The watery gel also runs all over the cake.
I found the Disney Princess Shimmer Decorating Glitter Gels to be a horrible product and would discourage anyone from using them.
